Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Responsibilities You will receive customer service requests for maintenance and repair of physical facilities by telephone call and by e-mail. You will be responsible for evaluating the request and determining if it should be categorized as planned or unplanned, routine, urgent or emergency work. You will be responsible for reviewing email requests and assigning them to Call Center Agents on duty, ensuring the workload is balanced throughout their shift. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: receiving and processing customer service requests for facilities maintenance; accurately categorizing work as planned, unplanned, routine, urgent, or emergency; utilizing computerized maintenance management systems (MAXIMO); and providing first-level assistance or training to lower-graded employees. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
