Summary:

CED West Monroe is committed to optimizing its inventory and asset management processes. We are seeking a detail oriented and driven individual to join the team. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting various operational aspects of our business including:

Logistics

Material Management

Shipping and Receiving

Vendor Managed Inventory

Reports to: Profit Center Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Proven experience in inventory and asset management

Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Strong computer skills and the ability to troubleshoot common issues

Ability to lift 50+ lbs with or without assistance

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional education in inventory management or a related field

Bachelor's degree

ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES:

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills

Effective communication and collaboration abilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions:

Warehouse environment and outdoor conditions including sometimes extreme hot/cold temperatures.

May require extended periods of standing.

Deliveries in all weather conditions including during extreme hot/cold, rain and other seasonal conditions.

This position also operates in a professional office environment which may require sitting for extended periods.

Position requires routine use of office equipment such as computers, phones, and tablets

Supervisory Responsibilities: No

Essential Job Functions:

Logistics Support: Delivery of material to customers

Material Management: Stocking shelves, organizing warehouse, pulling materials for orders, staging materials for deliveries, cycle counts

Shipping and Receiving: Unloading and unloading LTL, Hotshot, UPS, and Fedex

Vendor Managed Inventory: Oversee and Assist in Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)processes, ensuring proper levels of inventory to meet demand
