CNC Machinist | Direct Hire | $25-30/hr. based on skills and experience | Walker, MI | 3 Shift options available:

2nd shift Monday-Thursday 4:00pm-2:30am
1st shift Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm
Weekend Night Shift Friday-Sunday 6:00pm-6:30am, work 36 paid for 40 hours

This is a direct hire CNC Machinist position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire.

Position Information:

Set-up and operate a 5-axis CNC mill machine to produce components according to job specifications.

Accurately complete required documentation

Review and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure precision in machined parts.

Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain up-to-date required safety certifications.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the CNC work area and carry out routine machine upkeep.

Perform additional tasks assigned to support the overall success of the team.

Required Experience:

4+ years' experience setting up & operating 5-axis CNC milling machines or similar equipment.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.

Strong attention to workplace safety and possession of relevant safety certifications.

Skilled in performing basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.

Effective communication skills and a willingness to assist with various tasks as needed.
