Kelly is hiring a Mechanical Assembler on behalf of a leading designer and manufacturer of custom automated machinery and material handling systems.

$22.00 - $25.00 Based on Experience

Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, assembly drawings, and diagrams.

Assemble, fit, and install mechanical components, machinery, and equipment according to specifications.

Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and assembly equipment to build custom machinery.

Ensure proper alignment, fastening, and installation of mechanical components.

Inspect assemblies for quality, accuracy, and compliance with engineering requirements.

Test completed equipment and assist with troubleshooting mechanical issues during the assembly process.

Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently and accurately.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED

Previous mechanical assembly, maintenance, machine building, or related manufacturing experience preferred.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and schematics.

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience with pneumatic equipment, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulic systems, and AC/DC electrical systems is a strong plus.
