Kelly Outsourcing Consulting Group Kelly OCG, a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a Scientist, Bioanalytical Scientist for a long-term engagement at one of our Global pharmaceutical clients in Somerset, NJ.
Schedule: M-F, 1st shift
Location : Somerset, NJ
Compensation: $27.00-$38.00
SUMMARY
The Scientist' main focus is on method development and coaching of several Associate Scientists in method development, but can also perform validation studies and if needed, bioanalysis. The Scientist is described as knowing it all in the method development field and is able to transfer this knowledge in a one on one or regular presentations. Furthermore, the Scientist is able to resolve very complex issues and is skilled in coaching and mentoring other employees.
RESPONSIBILITIES
All Tasks and Responsibilities of an Associate Scientist
Independently executes challenging method development
Instructing, training, and supporting (Senior) Technicians and Associate scientists
Knowledge transfer via meeting and presentations
Supporting (several) Associate Scientist(s) in method development
Independently resolves equipment problems (troubleshooting)
Demonstrates a high level of understanding of validation principles and bioanalytical workflows.
Foundational knowledge in method development; actively progressing and high level of expertise in this area.
Possesses moderate capability to explain complex concepts and share knowledge effectively.
Quickly adjusts to changing priorities, new technologies, and evolving project requirements.
Shows strong ownership of tasks and projects, ensuring compliance and reliability.
Provides guidance, mentoring and support to colleagues.
Capable of organizing activities and aligning stakeholders to meet project goals.
Maintains high standards in all deliverables, with strong attention to detail and compliance.
Able to identify and resolve complex issues within bioanalytical and validation processes, and method development.
High level of problem-solving skills specific to method development challenges.
Effectively prioritizes tasks and meets deadlines under pressure.
QUALIFICATIONS
High professional level of laboratory related education or Master of Science (HBO/MSc)
3-5 years of relevant experience in a regulated environment (GLP/GxP preferred)
LCMS for the bioanalysis of both large and small molecules preferred
Fluent in English (verbal and written)
Dutch is a plus.
