Role summary:
As a Staff Product Manager, you will lead strategy and execution for complex products, driving end-to-end outcomes from discovery through value realization. This role requires deep customer and technical insight, strong stakeholder collaboration, and ownership of product vision, roadmaps, and go-to-market strategies. You will leverage data-driven decision making and emerging technologies to shape product direction, mentor peers, and influence cross-functional teams. Your leadership will ensure alignment with business goals while advancing product innovation and operational excellence within a dynamic environment.
About the team:
The team leads the development and scaling of a unified headless data access and distribution platform supporting Retail and Ads. It focuses on enterprise-wide platform strategy, including Cloud Feeds, streaming distribution, APIs, governance, and developer experience standards. The group emphasizes architectural alignment, lifecycle management, and preventing fragmented solutions as capabilities expand. Members collaborate cross-functionally to deliver coherent, scalable products that meet complex business needs. The team values deep technical expertise, data-driven decision-making, and strategic product leadership to drive long-term platform success and innovation across multiple business areas.
What you'll do:
Drive strategy and execution for complex products, owning end-to-end outcomes from discovery through value realization.
Build deep customer and business understanding using data analysis, journey mapping, and feedback mechanisms to prioritize product initiatives.
Define multi-quarter product vision and strategy, aligning with market trends and business goals.
Manage product roadmaps, coordinate cross-functional teams, and oversee risk and dependency trade-offs.
Utilize data and experimentation to validate assumptions and inform product direction.
Influence technical decisions and identify innovation opportunities in collaboration with Engineering and Data teams.
Mentor product managers and promote rigorous launch readiness and continuous improvement.
What you'll bring:
Proven expertise in defining and executing product strategy and roadmaps for complex or related product sets.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior partners.
Experience in data-driven decision making, including advanced analytics, experimentation, and translating insights into actionable priorities.
Deep understanding of customer needs through structured research, journey mapping, and feedback synthesis.
Proficiency in product lifecycle management from discovery through launch and value realization.
Knowledge of emerging technologies and platform strategies to accelerate innovation and time-to-market.
Ability to mentor and elevate product management practices within the team.

San Bruno, California US-08848: The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00 - $286,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
