Job Description:
Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and support impactful mission outcomes as a Subcontracts Administrator Principal at GDIT. Here, you'll enable the success of the most critical government missions and the growth of a meaningful career in Contract Management.
MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Subcontracts Administrator Principal , the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission. You will play a crucial role to our team, providing support and subject matter expertise related to the subcontract life-cycle (but not limited to) Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Proposals, Subcontract Negotiation, Purchase Orders and Closeout.
Maintains heightened knowledge of subcontract proposal requirements, process, and responsibilities
Develops, negotiates, and administers assigned NDAs, TAs, Subcontracts, and other related agreements in accordance with client requirements and GDIT policies and procedures
Leads the capture process which includes pricing and scheduling strategy, communicating with the subcontractor teammates regarding data calls assessing the responses received, and coordinating communications between subcontract stakeholders
Ensures timely processing of subcontract negotiations for fair and reasonable pricing as well as terms and conditions with assistance from management and input from relevant stakeholders
Creates and maintains compliant audit files in accordance with customer requirements and GDIT policies and procedures
Provides advice and interpretation of subcontract requirements and generates reports for stakeholders as required
Serves as a liaison facilitator between the program team and the subcontractor regarding contracting issues, escalating potential issues to management
Coordinates with program managers and all matrixed organizations to ensure subcontract requirements are fulfilled
May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced subcontract administrators
Maintains current knowledge of relevant subcontract procedures and practices and may provide guidance and/or task leadership to less-experienced subcontract administrators
Initiates and maintains an extensive network of communication with both internal and external customers
Participates in and/or manages special projects as required
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Education : Bachelors degree
Experience : 8+ years of subcontracts administration experience
Technical skills: Microsoft Office Suite
Security clearance level: None

Must be detail oriented, possess effective communication and writing skills, and be able to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment
Ability to operate and negotiate independently
Problem solving skills
Advanced knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned contracts, including FAR, and DFARS
Location: This is a hybrid position working in our GDIT facility in Herndon, VA. Must be comfortable working onsite (3+) days per week.

The likely salary range for this position is $93,662 - $110,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
