Description
The nCino Platform Administrator is responsible for the configuration and ongoing optimization of the nCino platform supporting both retail consumer lending and commercial lending. Serving as the primary administrator and subject matter expert, this role ensures that lending workflows are efficient, compliant, and aligned with business and regulatory requirements. The position also performs general Salesforce administration duties, supporting the stability, security, and scalability of the broader Salesforce ecosystem.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain retail and commercial lending processes from origination through closing
Partners with lending, operations, credit, compliance, and technology teams to translate business needs into effective system solutions
Ensure platform configurations align with regulatory, audit, data governance, and change management requirements
Optimize system usability, performance, and automation to improve lender and borrower experience
Provide ongoing Salesforce administration, including user access, configuration, releases, and platform governance

POSITION LEVEL(S) EXPECTATIONS (if applicable)
nCino Platform Junior Administrator - 0-2 years of experience with foundational understanding of Salesforce/nCino functionality. Performs basic configuration, user management, end user support, and change management documentation.
nCino Platform Administrator - 2-4 years of experience and ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and configure workflows, decisioning, and approval processes. Analyze enhancement requests and recommend best-practice solutions. Proactive in platform optimization and leading initiatives.
nCino Platform Administrator II - 5+ years of experience and the ability to lead complex initiatives and configuration.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCE
To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential position requirement satisfactorily and a skills inventory is listed below.
Bachelor's degree in a technology related program or 1-3 years' of platform administration experience.
Ability to interpret technical specifications as well as create technical documentation.
General understanding of banking, consumer lending, and small business lending is preferred.
Salesforce/nCino product knowledge is preferred
Salesforce or nCino certification preferred. (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator and/or nCino Platform Certification)
A background screening will be conducted.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents. Possesses professional communication and interpersonal skills to write and speak effectively both one-on-one and before groups of clients or employees of the organization. Ability to communicate to clients and employees of the organization directly and effectively.
TECHNOLOGY SKILLS: Ability to utilize telephone systems and possess good digital literacy including email, internet and intranet use. Good understanding of the Salesforce/nCino platform capabilities and implementation methodologies.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret various metrics within the Salesforce/nCino platform.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve challenging problems involving several variables in a standardized situation.

This position can operate in a professional office environment or remotely with considerable time spent at a desk using office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. Within the professional environment, noise levels are moderate with constant communication and interactions with others. Ability to travel on occasion to all market areas and attend seminars or training sessions offsite.
