Our Client, a Banking company, is looking for a Software Developer IV - Java for their Toronto, ON/Hybrid location. Responsibilities:

Will have this for distribution

Requirements:

Must have hard skills:

8+ years of experience within Spring Boot, Kafka and API development

Experience setting up Data bases from the ground up for new API's

Azure experience

Understanding of how APIs connect to Mainframe

Prior banking experience (big 5 banks)

Dynatrace or data dog

Experience using GitHub CoPilot

Soft skills:

Very strong and clear communication (written and verbal)

Strong problem-solving skills

Self-motivated, well organized, able to work both independently and in a team environment

Attention to detail and someone who is a self-starter and adaptable

Nice-to-have:

Azure fundamentals or Java certifications

Experience migrating from node to spring boot

Prior client experience
