Mechanical Engineering Intern

Hourly Rate- $25.00

Assignment Length- 6 months

Responsibilities

Create part/assembly drawings in SolidWorks and AutoCAD

Generate fixture assemblies to support factory acceptance testing requirements. Design considerations for fixtures are safety, economics, and ease of use for shop technicians.

Create process procedures that meets customer and regulatory specifications. Procedures include factory testing, parts inspection, others.

Communicate regularly with team members and company leaders regarding workload and task details/gaps.

Representative Qualifications:

Senior year student or recent graduate, Mechanical engineering or equivalent major

Senior year of college, less than three semesters from graduation.

Classes completed to include most, if not all junior level classes.

SolidWorks experience a must.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Ability to work in an Agile environment.
