Mechanical Technician

Florence, SC

Pay: $28.74 - $31.94 hour

Olsten Staffing is hiring a Mechanical Technician to support engineering efforts in product development, cost reduction, and troubleshooting field and quality issues. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong mechanical and electrical skills.

Key Responsibilities

Install, wire, maintain, and perform parts changes on mechanical systems

Support engineers with new product development and ongoing programs

Assist with troubleshooting and resolving quality or field issues

Read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams

Follow detailed procedures and work instructions

Communicate effectively to help turn ideas into actionable plans

Maintain a strong focus on safety for yourself and others

Qualifications & Skills

Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience

Electrical troubleshooting skills

Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams

Fabrication and welding skills preferred

Safety-focused mindset

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision

Education & Experience

Associate's degree in Engineering Technology or related field (preferred)

Pay Details: $28.74 to $31.94 per hour
