We are looking for a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team! The Quality Assurance Coordinator supports the Nuclear Quality organization by providing administrative, compliance, documentation, and inspection support activities necessary to maintain compliance with 10CFR50 Appendix B, EPRI guidance, customer requirements, and Namco Controls' Quality Management System.
This role serves as a shared resource between the Nuclear Quality Inspector and Quality Manager by supporting incoming inspection documentation, nuclear documentation packages, audit preparation and follow-up, quality records administration, corrective action tracking, training records, supplier qualification activities, and customer compliance requests. The position plays a key role in maintaining audit readiness, supporting production requirements, and ensuring continued compliance with nuclear quality program requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
Cross-train with the Nuclear Quality Inspector to provide backup support for critical inspection activities when necessary.
Support process verifications, inspections, and customer source inspection activities.
Support receiving inspection activities through documentation review, certification verification, and inspection record preparation.
Review Certificates of Compliance, material certifications, inspection reports, and supplier documentation for completeness and accuracy.
Assist with preparation and review of nuclear documentation packages and customer turnover documentation.
Maintain quality records in accordance with document retention requirements and applicable quality procedures.
Coordinate and maintain training and qualification records for personnel supporting nuclear activities.
Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits through preparation of records, audit evidence, and follow-up actions.
Track corrective actions, audit findings, lessons learned, and quality improvement activities to ensure timely completion.
Support supplier qualification activities and maintenance of supplier documentation.
Assist with customer and compliance-related inquiries.
Support management of nonconforming material documentation and related quality records.
Maintain quality metrics, logs, databases, and reports used to monitor performance.
Assist with RMA documentation, failure analysis coordination, and customer communications as required.
Qualifications
Education Requirement:
Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Quality, or related field preferred.
Required Experience:
3+ years of experience in quality, manufacturing, engineering support, document control, or related technical field.
Experience working with controlled documentation and quality records.
Strong organizational and administrative skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, procedures, and quality records.
Desired Experience:
Experience in nuclear, aerospace, defense, medical, or similarly regulated industry.
Knowledge of 10CFR50 Appendix B, ASME NQA-1, EPRI guidance, or ISO 9001 quality system requirements.
Experience supporting audits and corrective action programs.
Familiarity with supplier qualification programs and documentation control systems.
Experience with quality management systems, ERP systems, and record retention programs.

Pay Range
The salary range for this position in local currency is $23-43/hr.
