As a Armed Security Guard - Transportation Station Rover in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring integrity, reliability, and teamwork to every shift while contributing to a caring, agile, and innovative culture.

Pay Rate: $27.58 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including preparing clear and timely activity and incident reports.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.

Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials and/or permissions as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns through established channels.

Support law enforcement, first responders, and/or site personnel during emergencies, evacuations, investigations, and other security-related incidents while following post orders and use-of-force guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess an armed guard card and/or license.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Baton certification is preferred.

A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
