Job Title: Assembler / Installer
Job Description
This role supports the production of specialized vehicles by assembling and installing a wide range of components for ambulances and related electronic and electromechanical products. You will work on various assemblies and chassis units, using hand and power tools to fit, wire, and install modules and harnesses according to blueprints and production specifications.
Responsibilities
Assemble and install components, circuit modules, relays, and wiring harnesses in a variety of assemblies and chassis units for electronic and electromechanical products.
Interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions to complete assembly and installation tasks accurately.
Use power tools, including drills and other equipment, to cut openings in vehicle bodies to accommodate wiring, components, and modules.
Fit and assemble a variety of detail parts and assemblies, ensuring proper alignment, secure fastening, and quality workmanship.
Use hand tools such as wire cutters and crimpers to prepare, route, and secure wiring harnesses and electrical connections.
Perform wiring of harnesses and ensure all connections meet safety, quality, and functional standards.
Support production work on the manufacturing line, including repetitive assembly tasks and installation activities.
Assist with basic automotive-related tasks such as installation, adjustment, and minor repair of components as needed.
Follow preventive maintenance practices for tools and equipment used in daily work.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and quality requirements.
Communicate clearly with coworkers, with the ability to work in a bilingual (Spanish/English) environment when needed.
Essential Skills
Experience with manufacturing and production assembly in an industrial or automotive-related environment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and follow detailed assembly instructions.
Proficiency using hand tools such as wire cutters and crimpers for wiring and assembly tasks.
Proficiency using power tools, including drills and related equipment, for cutting, fitting, and assembly work.
Mechanical assembly skills, including fitting and aligning parts and components accurately.
Experience with installation work, including installing modules, harnesses, and related components.
Strong work history and demonstrated tenure in previous roles.
Automotive knowledge or experience, particularly in repair, installation, or maintenance, is strongly preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a production environment and meet quality and productivity standards.
Basic understanding of preventive maintenance practices for tools and equipment.
Ability to work in a bilingual environment (Spanish/English) is preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior experience in automotive manufacturing or specialized vehicle production.
Background in automotive repair or service, including installation and troubleshooting of components.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures in a manufacturing setting.
Comfort working with electronic and electromechanical products and assemblies.
Ability to adapt to evolving production needs and learn new assembly processes and tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
