The Vice President is responsible for all projects/programs in the region including overall operations, business development, and marketing support for multiple programs and groups. This position maintains all contractual relations and primary owner point of contact for all owner contracts. They promote good relationships thru marketing outings with owners, architects, and contractors to assure the company is maintaining relationships.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Develop short and long-term business development strategies in support of the overall business and organizational objectives. Regularly monitor progress to ensure achievement.

Plan, staff, and supervise all assigned work activities through subordinate managers to ensure a cohesive operational unit and ensure a three wide - three deep relationship model with all current clients.

Provide advice, guidance and direction to subordinate managers towards their professional development.

Promote and ensure that create and well thought out business plan is prepared and communicated to the team

Network and lead marketing initiatives to drive business growth for their group/region. Actively lead and participate in work organizations that support our client base.

Assist in the establishment, and ensure compliance of operational unit's short-term and long-term goals with overall corporate objectives

Participate in project pre-planning meetings and assure that the team addresses all agenda items in detail.

Review and approve any contracts, subcontracts and purchase orders before they are sent out

Prepare and monitor all owners contracts ensuring proper notice to proceeds are in place

Participate in budget meetings and see that a memo is written confirming budget issues

Maintain staffing cost coverage schedule report and submit monthly

Ensure a detailed overall project or construction schedule is built quickly and that the schedule is maintained/updated at a minimum of once per month; institute changes when projects fall behind to assure a timely completion

onitor weekly assessment report and ensure that change orders, submittals, contracts, RFI's, claims, relationships, schedules and so forth are on track

Ensure all SSR's are submitted in a timely manner to accounting for approval

Ensure that all client invoices being prepare are submitted in a timely fashion according to the terms on the contract

Participate in all Owners, including, OAC meetings. Follow up on citisical issues discussed to ensure people are delivering what is promised

Conduct post job meetings and ensure that good, historical data is discussed and provided to Leadership

Approve expense reports for direct reports and teams as required

Balance group/region workload and cost coverage

Ensure that HPM is an additional insured on all insurances

Preferred Education

Bachelor's Degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field

Preferred Experience

7-10 years of extensive project management experience in large, complex facility construction and on-site experience in the management of new construction and the renovation of existing assets

Advanced knowledge of principles and practices of budgeting, accounting and procurement in order to successfully manage the financial stability of the group

Solid understanding of effective client relations, contract management and business development principles

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Valid Driver's License Required
