Project Overview:

Bechtel's Manufacturing & Technology (M&T) Business Unit is designing and building an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Manufacturing Facility located at Generation Park in Houston, TX. M&T is an exciting and growing business unit that serves customers in the semiconductor, datacenter, life sciences, and electric vehicle markets. Job Summary:

In this role, you will participate in the design, development, and evaluation of mechanical components and processes. You will collaborate and support other engineering disciplines for mechanical matters. Your professional work knowledge and abilities through the application of standard mechanical engineering techniques and criteria will enable you to make impactful contributions to the team.

Major Responsibilities:

Assists in the design, development,?modification and evaluation of mechanical components and?processes used utilizing?relevant Engineering Department Procedures?(EDPs), design standards and guides, and Bechtel?Standard Application Programs (BSAPs)?

Compiles, adjusts, and correlates data that will?develop professional work knowledge and?abilities through the application of standard?mechanical engineering techniques,?procedures and criteria utilizing relevant?Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs),?design standards and guides, and Bechtel?Standard Application Programs (BSAPs)?

Provides direct support to other engineering?disciplines for mechanical related matters?

Researches, designs, develops, and?evaluates mechanical components, products,?and systems by using applied mechanical?engineering principles?

Coordinates development and presentation of?material when requested

Education and Experience Requirements:

A recognized degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited college or university.

Proficient in both oral and written communication.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Willing to learn project basics related to mechanical engineering.

Perform basic tasks such as equipment datasheets, equipment list updates, and support the EGS on project as required.
