Ready to be part of an excellent team? Nevada County's Clerk-Recorder/Registrar of Voters is seeking a detail-oriented individual with strong technical and organizational skills to serve as our Administrative Analyst I. This vital role develops, implements, and maintains comprehensive vote center and ballot processing procedures, and serves as the department's technical lead and subject matter expert for the Election Management System (EMS)!
Major duties include:
Develops, implements, and maintains comprehensive vote center and ballot processing procedures
Serves as the department's technical lead and subject matter expert for the Election Management System (EMS)
Designs and standardizes best practices for EMS use and integration
Manages all Election Night Reporting operations
Administers and coordinates all Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA) responsibilities
Compiles and analyzes election data for submission to the federal Election Administration and Voting Survey (EAVS)
Manages and fulfills requests for voter registration and participation data
Supervises all operations of the Ballot Processing Center
Serves as primary technical liaison for vote center operations

Education and Experience Required
Bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, economics or a related field from an accredited college or university, and one year of experience in administrative, budget or personnel analysis, preferably in a public agency.
Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis to a maximum of two years.

Retirement
The County is a member of the CalPERS retirement system and also provides the opportunity for voluntary contributions to a 457 deferred compensation account through Nationwide by way of pre-tax and Roth payroll deductions.
