As a Security Officer Manufacturing Facility in Coopersville, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and other security-related issues.

Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas to help support access control processes, verify visitor activity, and follow site protocols for deliveries, badges, and after-hours activity.

Communicate with staff, guests, and/or local responders during routine operations and escalated events, providing clear information and assistance while following post orders and location guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
