Summary You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the COMPTROLLER DEPARTMENT of CNIC FINANCIAL SERVICE CENTER. Responsibilities You will provide authoritative guidance regarding Permanent Change of Station (PCS) entitlements to civilian employees and command leadership to ensure compliance with travel allowances under the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) You will issue Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders for transferring personnel to ensure funding data and entitlements are accurate and compliant with regulatory guidance. You will extract, reconcile, and analyze financial data within financial management and accounting systems to maintain fiscal accountability and accuracy. You will resolve intricate PCS financial discrepancies for command personnel by researching, interpreting, and applying relevant financial regulations to implement corrective actions. You will create and maintains a tracking and metrics system for all command PCS actions to monitor workflow progress and measure operational efficiency. You will develop training materials and financial briefings regarding PCS policies and procedures to ensure command-wide understanding and reduce common processing errors. You will authorize official travel and obligate government funds in DTS, ensuring all requested expenses are allowable, mission-essential, and within allocated organizational budget constraints prior to approval Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing guidance on Permanent Change of Station (PCS) entitlements or travel claims; 2) Utilizing financial management and accounting systems to extract data, run reports, and analyze execution; 3) Resolving PCS or travel claim discrepancies; 4) Creating or maintaining tracking/metrics systems to monitor PCS or travel claim workflow progress;.
