Berkshire Rehab, an award-winning facility, is looking for a per diem
PTA to join our team in Sandisfield! We are a 57-bed, all-male skilled
nursing home with a large veteran population. Weekly pay up to \$45 an
hour. As a PTA, you assist in the provision, collection of assessment
data, and direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under the
direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist, and participate in
clinical program development. Education & Experience: - Associate?s
Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program. -
CEU?s per state licensure requirements. - Massachusetts PTA license
required. Duties & Responsibilities: - May perform additional assigned
administrative duties such as assigned by the Rehab Program Manager. -
Under a physician?s order, provides direct resident treatments in
accordance with an established plan of care. Treatment venues include
individual, supervised, and group. - Contributes to the team meeting and
decision-making process as defined by the program. - Consults with and
trains patients, residents, and caregivers. - Monitors efficiencies on
an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisor. - Documents
activities according to the company?s clinical documentation system on a
timely basis. - Demonstrates consistent knowledge and application of
Medicare and other reimbursement regulations. - Participates in clinical
program development and implementation. Specific Requirements: - Ability
to perform documentation needs, manipulations of equipment and direct
patient care. - Requires intense attention and concentration. - Ability
to cope with periodic stress associated with changing census and
staffing demands. - Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage time
effectively for self and others. - Ability to deal with a wide range of
personality @types, ages, and diverse cultural backgrounds. - Ability to
