Job Title: Electronics Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician who will interpret and assess complete drawing packages, ensuring constructability with accuracy and completeness. This role involves executing installation and maintenance activities, verifying timesheet charges, tracking tools, and ensuring compliance with safety requirements during daily ORM meetings. You will participate in PITCO plan creation and execution, install system components adhering to NEC standards, and configure electronic devices and network equipment while maintaining constant communication with project teams.
Responsibilities
Interpret and assess complete drawing packages for constructability, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Verify correct charges in timesheets for projects and execute installation and maintenance activities within planned durations.
Track and inventory tools, conducting consistent tool inspections and performing tool inventory at the end of each day for assigned tools and equipment.
Participate in 10-minute daily ORM meetings, ensuring team compliance with safety requirements.
Contribute to PITCO plan creation, execution, and testing to verify high quality.
Install system raceways, cabling, equipment racks, enclosures, panels, and all mounting hardware components, ensuring proper grounding and adherence to NEC standards.
Terminate, test, and configure electronic devices, network, and IT equipment.
Rack and stack head-end equipment, terminate and perform cable terminations and accessories according to industry standards.
Communicate consistently with project teams, demonstrating dedication, punctuality, and preparedness for work.
Act as a collaborative teammate, providing and absorbing constructive feedback with both internal and external customers in a positive manner.
Plan and prioritize tasks effectively, understanding and embodying the company's vision, mission, and values.
Survey and document existing field conditions, providing feedback and recommendations to the project team.
Essential Skills
4+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs.
Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
Troubleshooting, schematic, access controls, wiring panels, running wires, wiring devices.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems including Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, AIphone Intercom Systems, FFT, DIVAR, Windows operating systems.
Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or Electrical Apprenticeship program.
3 years of experience focused in electronic security systems.
Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $46.00/hr.
