Description We are looking for an experienced Corporate Paralegal to join a public-sector healthcare organization in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will partner with legal counsel and internal stakeholders to support commercial agreements, legal research, procurement-related matters, and day-to-day legal operations. This position is well suited for an individual who can manage competing priorities while helping maintain effective and compliant legal processes.

Responsibilities:

Prepare, edit, and coordinate a wide range of legal agreements, including service contracts, amendments, leases, and memoranda of understanding.

Oversee the progression of contracts from intake through approval, signature, renewal, and ongoing obligation tracking.

Maintain accurate records within the contract management platform and help ensure documentation remains current and accessible.

Perform research on applicable federal and Texas laws, regulations, and compliance requirements to support legal guidance.

Develop summaries, memoranda, and briefing materials that assist attorneys and organizational leaders with decision-making.

Contribute to procurement and contracting activities by helping align documentation and processes with Texas public-sector requirements.

Support dispute and litigation matters by organizing files, gathering records, and assisting with discovery-related responses.

Preserve legal and contractual records in accordance with retention standards and internal governance practices.

Collaborate with Legal, Procurement, and operational teams to improve coordination and consistency across contracting procedures. Requirements
