New Model Parts Quality Supplier Representative

Key Responsibilities

Lead supplier part development and tooling readiness throughout the new model lifecycle

Track supplier progress, identify risks, and resolve delays impacting production timelines

Review and manage quality documentation (QANs), ensuring compliance and driving corrective actions

Perform part inspections using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges)

Identify quality issues and implement effective countermeasures

Lead New Model Reviews (NMRs) to confirm all parts are production-ready

Provide regular updates, analysis, and recommendations to leadership on quality status and risks

Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, R&D, Assembly, and Supplier teams

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field

2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Experience working with OEM suppliers

Required Skills

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality systems

Hands-on experience with measurement and inspection tools

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Strong communication and presentation skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Work Environment & Requirements

Ability to travel domestically and internationally to supplier locations

Flexible schedule (including occasional off-shifts, weekends, or overtime as needed)

Onsite collaboration with suppliers and internal teams

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Timmonsville, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $36.06/hr.
