Onsite/Remote: Onsite Position

Note: Relocation assistance is not provided.

The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company's regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND .

Your Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Student Technical PE for Deere & Company World Headquarters located in Cary, NC , you will:

Work closely with a supervisor or other engineering personnel to support product testing, design and review.

Support the maintenance of documentation for each design in a neat and organized fashion for approval by the supervisor and other engineering personnel.

Perform other engineering tasks as directed under the supervision of an engineering supervisor or mentor.

Both on-the-job and classroom training will be provided.

This position is not available to students on immigration visas

What Skills You Need

Ideally, you will be pursuing a bachelor's degree in the following; lectrical/computer engineering, mechanical engineering, or computer science; others may apply.

Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university

Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior standing students are preferred, Senior standing and those pursuing Advanced degrees may apply.

Graduation date of May 2027 or later

Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above

Available to work 10-20 or more hours/week during the academic year

Available to work 35-40 hours/week during the summer semester

Must be able to commute to the work location in Cary, North Carolina, on a daily basis year-round
