The Manager, Material Handling Equipment Service, leads vendor and contract management to ensure operational excellence and compliance with quality standards. About the team:
Our team oversees one of the largest global supply chains, focusing on optimizing material handling equipment through early management, lifecycle enhancement, and retrofit initiatives. We emphasize preventing premature equipment failures to maintain operational excellence. Utilizing expertise in vendor and contract management, procurement, and budgeting, the team drives continuous improvement and equipment efficiency. Collaborating across functions, we implement best practices and uphold high standards to support Walmart's business objectives, fostering a culture centered on reliability and performance in equipment service management.
What you'll do:
Manage vendor relationships by evaluating performance, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and contract terms.
Oversee contract administration, ensuring adherence to organizational protocols and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with procurement teams to facilitate acquisition of materials, services, and equipment following established procedures.
Develop and manage budgets, analyze variances, and prepare expense reports to support operational goals.
Drive operational excellence by identifying process improvements, ensuring safety compliance, and implementing standard operating procedures.
Utilize data analysis tools to monitor equipment reliability and support technical issue resolution.
Lead change initiatives and crisis management efforts to maintain business continuity and performance.
What you'll bring:
Proven experience in vendor and contract management, including evaluating performance and ensuring compliance with agreements and regulations.
Strong procurement skills with the ability to manage purchase processes and supplier relationships effectively.
Expertise in budgeting, expense management, and variance analysis using preferred financial tools.
Demonstrated operational excellence with knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety standards.
Technical acumen to diagnose and resolve equipment issues and support installations.
Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and apply business process improvements.
Effective negotiation and project delivery skills to manage risks and achieve objectives.

RAYMOND, New Hampshire US-06030: The annual salary range for this position is $77,000.00 - $143,000.00
BROOKSVILLE, Florida US-06020: The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
