About the team:
The team is responsible for planning fresh area items for ISBs and seasonal one-time buys, utilizing data-driven insights and financial forecasting to optimize category performance. Collaborating cross-functionally, the team develops and executes strategic merchandise plans that align with business goals. They analyze trends, manage budgets, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance financial outcomes. Focused on continuous improvement, the team leverages advanced tools and business intelligence to support decision-making and drive results. This group upholds high standards of integrity and professionalism while fostering a collaborative environment to achieve shared success.
What you'll do:
Lead financial forecasting and category planning using data analytics and business intelligence to project results and guide decision-making.
Collaborate cross-functionally to align forecasts, promotional plans, and feature strategies with business objectives.
Analyze category performance, identify opportunities, and recommend actions to improve customer and financial outcomes.
Develop and manage category budgets, incorporating insights into financial systems and reporting key business drivers.
Communicate findings and strategic recommendations to leadership, supporting informed decisions and accountability.
Foster a customer-centric approach by anticipating trends and influencing demand through category expertise.
What you'll bring:
Proven expertise in merchandising and category management with strong financial forecasting and planning skills.
Ability to analyze complex financial data and develop actionable insights to drive business performance.
Experience managing profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities and building budgets aligned with strategic goals.
Proficiency in merchandise and product planning, including feature and promotion management based on data-driven analytics.
Strong communication skills to present executive summaries and influence cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated capability to leverage business intelligence and customer insights to optimize assortment and sales forecasting.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).
