Role summary:
The Senior Manager, Business Analysis and Insights, leads data-driven evaluation and reporting to support strategic business initiatives. This role collaborates with internal and external partners to develop, implement, and refine business strategies based on comprehensive analysis. The position oversees multiple projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals while driving efficiency and compliance. It also involves mentoring team members, fostering a high-performance environment, and promoting continuous improvement. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement to advance business opportunities and deliver actionable insights that support sustainable growth and operational excellence.
About the team:
Our team empowers Walmart Academy by delivering essential data, insights, technology, and governance to create exceptional learning experiences. We manage systems and tools supporting Academy operations, including AI integration, learning platforms, reporting, and travel budget solutions. Our efforts enable leaders to make informed decisions, enhance operational efficiency, and provide reliable, scalable solutions for learners and stakeholders. We oversee governance for key learning programs, ensuring quality and alignment. As the technology and insights support team, we connect strategy, systems, and data to drive impactful learning and operational excellence across Walmart Academy.
What you'll do:
Provide data-driven analysis and insights to support and enhance business strategies across functions.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop consistent, accurate strategies using analytical findings.
Recommend and implement initiatives based on data to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and business outcomes.
Drive execution of business plans by identifying needs, setting priorities, and removing obstacles to performance.
Oversee processes ensuring compliance, efficiency, and alignment with company standards and goals.
Lead, mentor, and develop team members to build a high-performing, collaborative work environment.
Monitor key performance indicators and adjust strategies to meet evolving business objectives.
What you'll bring:
Extensive experience in business analysis with a strong focus on data-driven decision making and strategic insight development.
Proficiency in data analysis tools, including SQL, Python, BigQuery, and data visualization techniques to support actionable business strategies.
Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships and collaborate cross-functionally to align business objectives and drive growth.
Expertise in developing, executing, and reassessing business plans and initiatives to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Proven leadership skills in mentoring, coaching, and developing high-performing teams while fostering a collaborative work environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights clearly to broad audiences.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
