Job Description
This role supports a high-volume food production facility by handling bulk product, operating basic production equipment, and ensuring products are properly bagged, sealed, and prepared for shipment. The position involves frequent lifting of bags weighing between 30 and 100 pounds and requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to work efficiently on a fast-paced production line.
Responsibilities
Handle and move bulk bags of product weighing between 30 and 100 pounds throughout the shift.
Read ingredient labels carefully and accurately count the number of bags on each pallet to ensure correct inventory and order fulfillment.
Stack bags of product as they come off the production line, maintaining stable and organized pallets.
Seal bags of product as they come off the production line, ensuring each bag is properly closed and ready for shipment or further processing.
Essential Skills
Ability to perform general production work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Capability to frequently lift and handle bags weighing between 30 and 100 pounds safely and consistently.
Experience with bagging product on a production line or in a similar manufacturing setting.
Attention to detail when reading ingredient labels and counting bags on pallets.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Comfort working in a food production environment where powder and food particles may be present in the air.
Ability to work effectively as part of a production team and communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors.

Work Environment
This role is based in a food production facility that handles powdered products, where food particles may be present in the air in certain areas. The environment is structured, safety-focused, and fast-paced, with production lines operating on a Monday through Thursday schedule for both 1st shift (5:45 AM - 4:15 PM) and 2nd shift (4:00 PM - 2:30 AM). Overtime is typically scheduled on Fridays, and during some holiday periods, operations may run Sunday through Wednesday. Employees use safety personal protective equipment at all times and wear a full uniform from head to toe, which includes a safety hat, hair net, safety glasses, jacket, pants, and steel-toe footwear. The facility emphasizes adherence to safety and food quality standards while working with production and press equipment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.37 - $19.37/hr.
