Description We are looking for a dependable Office Assistant to support a short-term Contract assignment in San Mateo, California within the security industry. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is comfortable with hands-on warehouse and clerical support, including organizing materials, scanning items, and keeping work areas orderly. The role requires strong attention to detail, a steady pace, and the ability to remain active throughout the day while assisting with inventory handling and pallet preparation.

Responsibilities:

Sort and arrange warranty units in an organized manner to support efficient processing and staging.

Scan barcodes accurately and record item information to maintain reliable tracking of materials.

Move products onto pallets carefully while following established handling and safety practices.

Assist with repositioning pallets to create workspace and improve floor organization as needed.

Use a pallet jack to transport palletized materials when required and with prior experience.

Perform frequent bending, reaching, and standing throughout the shift while completing assigned tasks.

Support general data entry and basic administrative duties related to inventory and unit handling.

Help maintain a clean, orderly, and productive work environment during the assignment. Requirements - At least 2 years of relevant experience in office support, data entry, inventory handling, or a similar position.

Ability to lift and maneuver items weighing 25 pounds or more on a regular basis.

Comfortable standing and walking for most of the workday while performing repetitive tasks.

Experience with barcode scanning, data entry, and accurate recordkeeping.

Familiarity with basic office tools, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, email, and standard office equipment.

Ability to organize materials effectively and manage tasks with strong attention to detail.

Pallet jack experience is preferred, though not required for every candidate.
