Job Description
This role involves performing a wide range of mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly, testing, fabrication, and inspection tasks to support consistent production flow. You will work from detailed technical documentation, use a variety of tools and equipment, and ensure all work meets established quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions to assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical products.
Plan and perform a variety of assembly, test, fabrication, and inspection operations in both standard and non-standard environments to maintain the flow of work.
Operate hand tools, power tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment, and light equipment safely and effectively during assembly activities.
Maintain accurate inventory of products and components at assigned workstations to support continuous production.
Perform quality checks on assembled products, identify defects, and accurately document any issues found.
Rework and repair assembled equipment and products in accordance with updated engineering specifications and changes.
Follow all established quality standards, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistent product quality.
Adhere to established safety procedures and practices while performing all tasks.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift.
Lift and handle items weighing up to 40 pounds as part of daily tasks.
Work in a standing position for up to 8 hours per day to complete assembly and related duties.
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to support production goals and resolve issues.
Essential Skills
Experience in mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly in a manufacturing or production environment.
Ability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, hand cutters, and measuring equipment for assembly work.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform quality checks and identify product defects.
Capability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a standing position for up to 8 hours per day.
High school diploma with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or 3 years of relevant experience in the absence of a high school diploma or GED.
Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in mechanical assembly or related production roles.
Familiarity with electro-mechanical components and assemblies.
Experience working from engineering changes and updating work based on revised specifications.
Strong organizational skills to maintain inventory and keep workstations orderly.
Ability to follow established quality and safety procedures consistently.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.

Work Environment
This is a hands-on manufacturing and assembly environment with a Monday through Friday schedule from 5:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. You will work primarily on your feet, standing for up to 8 hours per day, and regularly lifting up to 40 pounds. The role involves frequent use of hand tools, power tools, hand cutters, measuring instruments, and light equipment at organized workstations. The facility emphasizes adherence to established safety procedures, clean and orderly work areas, and consistent application of quality standards.

Pay and Benefits
