As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Elizabethtown, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare location, where you will patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring reliability, integrity, and teamwork to every shift while contributing to a caring, agile, and innovative culture.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Mon06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Tue06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Wed02:00 PM - 06:00 PM

Sun06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.

Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity for restricted areas, patient care areas, and visitor screening locations according to site-specific protocols.

Document incidents, observations, and security-related concerns, and communicate with supervisors, local law enforcement, and/or onsite personnel as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess an armed guard card and/or license.

Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Handcuffing certification is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
