Warehouse Associate - Order Picking & Material Handling

Location: Sumner, WA

Pay: $24.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM

Job Type: Temp-to-Perm

About the Role

We are seeking reliable and motivated Warehouse Associates to join a growing electrical equipment distribution operation in Sumner, WA . This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and are comfortable handling materials and fulfilling orders accurately.

Key Responsibilities

Pick and prepare customer orders accurately using an RF scanner

Perform general material handling duties, including moving and staging products

Receive incoming freight and verify shipments for accuracy and quality

Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training/certification required or provided)

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

Qualifications

Previous warehouse, order picking, or material handling experience preferred

Experience using RF scanners is a plus

Ability to operate or learn PIT equipment

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions

Reliable attendance and punctuality required

Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed throughout the shift

Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods

Requirements

Steel-toe boots required

Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (if applicable)
