Summary You will serve as a Contact Representative in NMRTC OAK HARBOR WA. No PCS cost will be paid Responsibilities You will provide administrative support services to Military Service Members undergoing processing through the Disability System. You will assist members from the time of receipt of notification of pending Medical Evaluation Board (MEB) through the various stages of processing until completion of the Clinical Eval Process and forwarding to Physical Eval Board Liaison Officer. You will coordinate with the physician and physician assistant to ensure all abnormal conditions are assessed by consultation to the specialty clinic. You will operate personal computer, microcomputer or computer terminal, using a standard @typewriter style keyboard with additional function keys to produce work accurately and efficiently. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: Utilizing Veteran Affairs (VA) and Department of Defense (DoD)/ Department of navy (DoN) medical standards, general policies and procedures, and general health information systems and records to provide adequate counsel to inquiring clinical staff and tenant command personnel. Utilizing electronic medical systems/computer information systems/electronic health records for and from the various military and veteran/s medical systems such as MHS Genesis, Joint Legacy Viewer, ALTHA, Health Artifact Information Management Systems (HAIMS), Fleet Training Management & Planning System (FLTMPS)GIQD, LIMDU SMART. Utilizing the Navy Disability System and Medical Board processing to track personnel though out the processes and disseminate accurate information to command leadership regarding staff. Provide informational presentations to a variety of audiences, to include Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) leadership and MTF clinical staff. In accordance with BUMEDINST 6220.9B, all personnel, including direct and indirect care providers, administrators, ancillary services, volunteers, students, and others who may come in contact with patients, must receive and maintain appropriate vaccination against seasonal influenza.
