We are seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Account Sales Manager with a passion for nutrition and fitness. In this role, you manage key client relationships, develop new business opportunities, and drive revenue growth within a high-energy sports nutrition supplements environment. You collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met while building long-term partnerships and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing customers, ensuring consistent communication and support.
Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing inquiries and coordinating solutions.
Understand client needs, business objectives, and challenges, and ensure proposed solutions align with their goals.
Identify new sales opportunities and potential clients through proactive outreach, including inside sales and cold calling.
Develop and execute strategies to grow existing accounts and expand product offerings within assigned territories or segments.
Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets by effectively managing the sales pipeline and closing opportunities.
Coordinate with internal teams, including production, logistics, and quality, to ensure customer requirements are clearly communicated and fulfilled on time.
Monitor account performance and customer satisfaction, taking action to address gaps and improve outcomes.
Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and account plans to support strategic decision-making and performance tracking.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, sports nutrition supplements, and relevant market trends.
Stay informed about industry developments and competitor activities, and provide feedback to management on customer needs and competitive insights.
Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and refine sales strategies.
Resolve customer concerns or issues in a timely, professional manner, ensuring a high level of service throughout the sales process.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product launches, promotions, and other initiatives that drive account growth.
Continuously build and refine sales, negotiation, and presentation approaches to improve effectiveness and results.
Essential Skills
3-5 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development.
Proven experience in account management, business development, and sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with the ability to foster long-term partnerships.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation abilities.
Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategy and decision-making.
Proficiency in CRM systems for managing pipelines, activities, and customer information.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple accounts and deadlines.
Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability to develop effective account and sales strategies.
Results-driven attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred.
Experience in manufacturing, food industry, or private label environments is a plus.
Interest or background in nutrition, sports nutrition, or fitness is highly beneficial.
Experience with inside sales and cold calling to generate new business opportunities.
Comfort with data entry and maintaining accurate records in CRM and reporting tools.

Work Environment
This is an onsite role working Monday through Friday during regular business hours. You will work in a high-energy company focused on sports nutrition supplements, collaborating closely with production, logistics, quality, and other internal teams. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $31.25/hr.
