Position Description & Qualifications
Serco is excited to support the Air Force Modeling and Simulation Support Services (AFMS3) contract. The primary purpose of this contract is to ensure that the Department of the Air Force (DAF), Department of Defense (DoD), and External Partner Agencies maintain cutting-edge Modeling and Simulation (M&S) capabilities that are secure, interoperable, and efficient. The contractor will provide comprehensive support and innovative solutions that enable the continuous evolution and enhancement of M&S systems, ensuring that the DAF and DoD can effectively prepare for and execute their missions with the highest level of readiness and lethality.
Must have an active U.S. Department of War (DoW) Secret security clearance.
To be successful in this role you will have:

A Bachelor's degree (or additional years of relevant experience in technical, engineering, cybersecurity, or program management fields in lieu of degree)
5 years of experience, (2 years supervisory)
The possibility to telecommute (Part-time)
Prior experience supporting AFMS, or other DoD M&S programs is strongly desired
The ability to travel 10%
Provides supports in managing complex contracts for multiple customers according to the mission of the organization. Responsible for managing resources, day-to-day activities to meet project/program requirements, processes, and optimizing service operations efficiently and cost effectively. Troubleshoots problems within project/program, providing analysis and solution recommendations. Requires knowledge and understanding of government contract management, best business practices, and internal policies and procedures. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Leads and directs the work of others. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Salary range: The range for this position can be found at the top of this posting. This range is provided as a general guideline and represents a good faith estimate across all experience levels. Actual base salary will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the scope of the role, relevant experience, job-related knowledge, education and training, key skills, and geographic market considerations. For roles available in multiple states, the range may vary to reflect differences in local labor markets. In addition to base salary, eligible positions may include other forms of compensation such as annual bonuses or long-term incentive opportunities.
