Job Description
U.S. Bank Global Fund Services is excited to hire a Financial Reporting Supervisor for our Fund Administration department.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Financial Reporting Supervisor to lead a team responsible for the preparation and analysis of financial statements for our investment portfolios. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with regulatory and accounting standards and maintaining accurate reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investment accounting, GAAP reporting, and team leadership.
In this role, you will:
Leadand mentora team responsible forthe preparationand reviewof financial statements(e.g., statement of assets and liabilities, schedule of investments, statement of operations, statement of changes in net assets, statement of cash flows,accompanying financial footnotesand tailored shareholder reports)andthe accompanyingsupport packagesfor mutual funds, ETFs, and other investment vehicles.
Ensure compliance with SEC, GAAP, andregulatoryreporting requirements.
Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
Assist in developingand maintaininginternal controls over financial reporting.
Monitor changes in accounting standards and assess their impact on reporting processes.
Provide training and technical guidance to staff regarding changes in regulations and procedures.
Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within the reporting function.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
CPA certified or candidate
Eight or more years of experience in Mutual Fund Administration or related field, i.e., public accounting
Preferred Skills/Experience
College level degree or higher in accounting or finance and CPA certified or candidate preferred.
Severalyears with extensive experience in Fund Administration, investment company financial reportingor related field, i.e., public accounting.
Strong knowledge ofU.S. GAAP, Regulation S-X and investment company financial reporting best practices.
Good organizational skillsandability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Thorough knowledge ofMicrosoft Office and financial reporting systems (e.g., Unity Financials, Bloomberg, Eagle STAR).
Good oral, written communication and relationship building skills.
Effectiveatmanagingstaff, dealingwith other personnel at all levelsand collaboratingwith external clients and stakeholders.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $98,175.00 - $115,500.00
