Job Title: Aircraft Technician - GSO Service Center
Job Description
The Aircraft Technician at the GSO Service Center works within an established FAR 145 Repair Station and is responsible for performing assigned maintenance tasks, inspections, functional and operational checks, and troubleshooting on aircraft systems. This role focuses on scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of airframe and power plant systems while ensuring all work complies with regulatory standards, company procedures, and quality requirements.
Responsibilities
Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections, maintenance, and repairs on airframe and power plant systems and components using approved methods, techniques, and practices.
Conduct functional and operational checks on affected aircraft systems to verify proper performance after maintenance.
Document all work performed accurately and completely in accordance with regulatory requirements and Repair Station/Quality Manual policies and procedures.
Demonstrate proficiency in the methods, techniques, practices, tools, and equipment used during aircraft maintenance activities.
Identify, protect, and preserve piece parts and articles undergoing maintenance in alignment with Repair Station Manual/Quality Control Manual and company policies.
Ensure all parts, products, and materials installed on aircraft meet applicable regulatory and quality requirements.
Perform all assigned work in a safe and effective manner, consistently practicing good housekeeping and adhering to company and regulatory safety standards.
Provide detailed shift turnovers when maintenance tasks remain unfinished, ensuring continuity and clarity for the next technician or team.
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft in accordance with regulations, manufacturer instructions, and company policies.
Collaborate effectively within a team environment to support maintenance operations on corporate and general aviation aircraft.
Essential Skills
Airframe license required.
A&P certification strongly preferred; A&P-licensed technicians typically have 1-5 years of experience supporting corporate and general aviation aircraft.
Experience performing aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on airframe and power plant systems.
Working knowledge of aircraft maintenance software such as Quantum, Corridor, and/or SAP.
Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office products.
Thorough knowledge of aircraft maintenance requirements, inspection procedures, and standard maintenance practices.
Ability to accurately complete maintenance documentation and records.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy in all maintenance and documentation activities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with aircraft maintenance in a FAR 145 Repair Station environment.
Background in line maintenance and general aircraft maintenance repair.
Experience supporting military aircraft or corporate/general aviation aircraft is beneficial.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting with multiple technicians.
Ability to adapt to varying shifts and schedules as operational needs require.

Work Environment
The position is based in a service center operating seven days a week, with a 4/10 schedule Monday through Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and a 3/36 weekend schedule Friday through Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Candidates need to be flexible to work different shifts based on operational requirements. You will work in teams of approximately 5-10 technicians in a collaborative hangar and shop environment. Tools are provided on site, and the facility supports maintenance on the HA-420 HondaJet and related sustainment and R&D activities, using modern maintenance software and standard aircraft maintenance equipment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
