Schedule: M-F 8am to 5pm
Pay Rate: $185k+ Annually DOE
Location: Santa Clara, CA - Relocation assistance available
Position Type: Full-Time

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for facility systems, including HVAC, exhaust, Process PCW cooling water, compressed air, vacuum, thermal systems, gas delivery interfaces, waste water, and other utilities that support semiconductor operations.
Troubleshoot system issues and performance concerns across the infrastructure.
Support root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions
Perform basic engineering evaluations and calculations to assess system performance and capacity
Support maintenance planning, reliability improvements, and outage coordination
Review and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and procedures
Assist with system modifications, installations, and commissioning activities
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve system and facility issues
Provide technical guidance to technicians, vendors, and contractors as needed
Ensure work is planned and executed in alignment with cleanroom protocols, contamination-control expectations, lockout/tagout requirements, safety standards, environmental requirements, and customer/site procedures.
Prepare reports, documentation, and status updates; support customer and stakeholder communications
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent relevant industrial facilities experience
5+ years of facility operations experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or similar environments
Experience supporting electrical infrastructure in high-reliability settings (e.g., semiconductor, cleanroom, industrial manufacturing, data centers)
Working knowledge of power distribution, electrical controls, instrumentation, grounding, schematics, and troubleshooting practices
Working knowledge of electrical switchgear, including operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of systems up to 480V
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, procedures, and maintenance documentation
Familiarity with electrical codes, safe work practices, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and site safety requirements
Ability to support low-, medium-, and/or high-voltage systems based on site scope
Strong problem-solving, root-cause analysis, documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Ability to work on-site in cleanroom or semiconductor environments, including adherence to gowning and safety protocols
Experience with building systems and utilities such as HVAC, process cooling water, vacuum, exhaust, specialty gases, and building automation systems
Preferences:
Experience in Project management, Controls and knowledge of semiconductor processes.
SPC Knowledge.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
Experience with CMMS/EAM systems, BAS/SCADA interfaces, commissioning, outage planning, reliability programs, or technical change control
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical Engineering.
Physical Effort/Activities:
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds.
