Job Title: Panel Assembler - Electrical Wiring and Control Panels
Job Description
This role focuses on assembling and wiring high-performance industrial ovens and other thermal products. You will perform point-to-point wiring of controls, relays, fans, and control panels using wire diagrams, schematics, and blueprints. The work is primarily seated, uses only new equipment with no live wiring, and requires careful attention to detail, safe work habits, and consistent quality.
Responsibilities
Assemble and wire high performance industrial ovens and other thermal products according to work orders, blueprints, diagrams, and layouts.
Perform point-to-point wiring of controls, relays, fans, and control panels using a variety of hand and power tools.
Read and interpret wire diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, ladder logic, and blueprints to complete electrical assemblies accurately.
Install and route wiring for control panels, PLCs, and related electrical components in accordance with specifications and standards.
Perform electrical assembly and mechanical assembly tasks as needed to complete control panels and related equipment.
Verify correct connections, continuity, and proper routing of wires and components to ensure reliable operation of finished products.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and handle tools and equipment safely and responsibly.
Collaborate with experienced team members to resolve questions or issues that arise during assembly and wiring.
Follow all safety procedures and quality standards to ensure consistent, high-quality products and a safe working environment.
Essential Skills
At least 3+ months of on-the-job experience in wiring or electrical assembly, or an equivalent education in a related electrical field.
At least 3+ months of experience reading schematics; experience with ladder logic is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret wire diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints for electrical assemblies.
Hands-on experience with electrical assembly, including panel wiring, control panel wiring, and electrical wiring of components.
Basic mechanical assembly skills to support installation of electrical and control components.
Proficiency using basic hand tools such as wire cutters, wire strippers, and screwdrivers.
Ability to work primarily in a seated position while maintaining focus and precision in detailed wiring tasks.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to written instructions and diagrams.
Commitment to following safety procedures and working safely around electrical components and tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with PLC installation and related control wiring.
Experience with electrical technology through work experience or education.
Familiarity with control panels and industrial electrical systems.
Comfort working from detailed schematics, ladder logic diagrams, and wiring diagrams for complex control systems.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, asking questions and seeking guidance when needed.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot wiring or assembly issues using diagrams and schematics.
Ownership of a basic personal tool set including wire cutters, wire stripper, and screwdrivers.

Work Environment
The work takes place in a clean, orderly, and well-maintained shop environment with exceptional lighting and a strong emphasis on safety. Most tasks are performed from a seated position at a workstation, wiring new equipment with no live wiring involved. You will use standard hand and power tools for electrical and mechanical assembly, working with control panels, wiring diagrams, schematics, and related electrical components. The team includes many long-tenured employees, creating a supportive atmosphere where questions are encouraged and help is readily available. Work hours typically follow a Monday-Friday schedule, with opportunities for up to 10 hours of overtime during the week and occasional overtime on Saturdays and Sundays, including double-time pay for Sunday work. The environment is structured, professional, and focused on quality, safety, and consistent production.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $50000.00/yr.

-2 raises every year. One annually and one every August
-The raises are anywhere from $.40 - $.60. They are having a union negotiation later this year to hopefully increase the raises.
-They are offering up to 10 hours of OT during the Mon-Fri Week. At times they are offer OT on Saturday and Sunday. Double time pay if you work on Sunday.
