Job Title: Construction Laborer
Job Description
This role involves performing physically demanding labor in a pre-cast concrete production facility, including tying rebar, setting up forms, and assisting with concrete pours on an assembly-style line. You will work closely with a team while independently meeting structured production times in a temperature-controlled environment.
Responsibilities
Tie rebar accurately and efficiently for pre-cast concrete components.
Set up walls and forms on an assembly-@type production line according to specifications.
Assist with pouring concrete as needed, ensuring proper placement and finish.
Perform physically demanding tasks such as bending, kneeling, and lifting throughout the shift.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during daily tasks.
Follow production schedules and meet structured production times independently.
Adhere to all safety procedures, including the use of required personal protective equipment.
Collaborate with a group of coworkers to maintain workflow and production quality.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with facility standards.
Essential Skills
Prior experience in construction, concrete work, machine or equipment operation, or assembly manufacturing.
Ability to perform intense physical labor, including frequent bending, kneeling, and standing for up to 12 hours.
Comfort working with hand tools and power tools such as hammers, utility knives, and cutting tools.
Reliability and willingness to work varying hours, typically starting at 6:00 a.m. and working 8-12 hours per day until the job is finished.
Availability to work mandatory Saturdays as needed.
Ability to follow instructions and work productively on an assembly-@type line.
Commitment to working safely and wearing required safety gear, including hard hat, steel-toe footwear, and safety glasses.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in pre-cast concrete, general construction, or carpentry.
Familiarity with using a speed square, hammer, utility knife, 6" adjustable wrench, tie wire pliers, and side cutters.
Willingness to obtain or purchase required hand tools within two days of starting.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while meeting individual production expectations.

Work Environment
The role is based in a pre-cast concrete production facility with a temperature-controlled environment that is cold in the winter and mild in the summer. You will work on an assembly-@type line focused on setting up walls, tying rebar, and pouring concrete as needed. Typical shifts start at 6:00 a.m. and run until the work is finished, generally 8-12 hours per day, with mandatory Saturdays as needed. The position requires frequent bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. You must wear a hard hat, steel-toe footwear, and safety glasses at all times and use hand and power tools regularly. You will work closely with a group of coworkers while being responsible for meeting structured production times independently.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
