DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position supports the Managed File Transfer environment through monitoring, maintenance, and workflow management. It ensures secure and dependable movement of data across systems and partners. As a Globescape Administrator, you will perform the following duties:
System Monitoring:Track system activity and identify issues within the Managed File Transfer environment
Workflow Management:Set up, test, and maintain workflows that support agency and vendor processes
File Security:Apply encryption and decryption tools to protect file transfers
Database Administration:Support SQL database operations including backups, maintenance, and object updates
Issue Resolution:Investigate and resolve technical problems using ITIL practices
System Maintenance:Install, configure, and troubleshoot software related to file transfer and data scanning

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, two days per week in office. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year as an Information Technology Generalist 1, Applications Developer 1, or Network Specialist 1; (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration);or
Four years of information technology experience that includes one year of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services;or
Two years of information technology experience that includes one year of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services, and an associate's degree in any information technology field;or
A bachelor's degree in any information technology field;or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
