Job Title: Electrical Technician
Job Description
This role focuses on performing electrical wiring and assembly of large control panels for specialized OEM machinery. You will interpret wiring schematics and diagrams, run PLC cables, mount components, and complete both high- and low-voltage wiring while ensuring safe and accurate installations.
Responsibilities
Perform electrical panel control wiring and assembly for customer products, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications.
Read and interpret wiring schematics, wiring schedules, and point-to-point diagrams for OEM machinery.
Run PLC cables and mount electrical components within large control panels.
Wire high and low voltage circuits ranging from 12V, 24V, 120V, 240V, up to 480V in a safe and compliant manner.
Install and work with electrical switchgear and three-phase electrical power installations.
Mount and wire panels, ensuring neat, organized, and reliable layouts.
Wire and support high and low voltage machinery, including integration of control systems.
Mount and run cables for vision systems, photo eyes, and servo drives.
Assist with installation of PLCs, servo drives, and vision systems as part of automated machinery.
Verify proper operation of wired panels and equipment, and troubleshoot wiring or connection issues as needed.
Essential Skills
Proven experience performing electrical wiring and assembly of large control panels.
Ability to read and understand wiring schematics, wiring schedules, and point-to-point diagrams.
Proficiency in wiring circuits from 12V, 24V, 120V, 240V, up to 480V.
Strong knowledge of electrical switchgear and three-phase electrical power installations.
Hands-on experience with electrical assembly, conduit work, and panel building/wiring.
Experience wiring high and low voltage machinery in the 24V to 480V range.
Ability to run PLC cables and mount electrical components accurately and securely.
Experience mounting and running cables for vision systems, photo eyes, and servo drives.
Schematics experience, including PLC installation, servo drives, and vision systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working with one-of-a-kind OEM machinery and custom control systems.
Comfort working on new equipment in a production or manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe electrical practices.
Ability to work overtime when needed to support production demands.
Willingness to work on either 1st or 2nd shift as required by business needs.

Work Environment
The role is based in a clean, well-lit facility working on new equipment and specialized OEM machinery. The company is growing and offers opportunities for advancement and increased responsibility. Standard 1st shift hours are 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with overtime available, and 2nd shift hours are 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with overtime available as needed. You will work around electrical panels, control systems, and automated machinery, using tools and equipment appropriate for electrical assembly and wiring tasks.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $34.00/hr.
