Pay Rate: $21-$29/hour

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking experienced Fire Alarm Technicians to support high-impact projects. If you take pride in your technical expertise and want to work on high-visibility sites where safety matters, this is your opportunity to join a team that makes a real impact.

About the Role

As a Fire Alarm Technician, you'll install, maintain, inspect, and repair fire alarm systems across a variety of commercial locations. Your work will help ensure systems are reliable, code-compliant, and performing as designed to protect people and property.

What You'll Do

Install, test, and commission fire alarm systems

Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance

Diagnose and resolve system issues efficiently

Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local fire codes

What You Bring

Required:

Proven experience installing and servicing fire alarm systems

Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and fire safety codes

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between job sites

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Effective communication and time management abilities

Preferred:

NICET certification (or willingness to obtain)

Experience with multiple fire alarm system manufacturers

Background in commercial or institutional projects (e.g., hotels, universities)

Pay Details: $21.00 to $29.00 per hour
