The (USA) Technician, Facility Services, Food Equipment, is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on food equipment, facilities, and fixtures. What you'll do:
Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on food equipment, facilities, and fixtures following established schedules and guidelines.
Inspect, clean, and diagnose equipment issues using blueprints, manuals, and specialized tools.
Conduct major and minor repairs across multiple crafts including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
Manage work orders, maintenance logs, and documentation for repairs, parts ordering, and warranty claims.
Operate and maintain heavy machinery and company vehicles in compliance with safety standards.
Respond promptly to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotations to support critical needs.
Collaborate with contractors to ensure quality and safety compliance.
What you'll bring:
Proven experience performing preventive maintenance and repairs on food equipment and facility systems using multiple craft skills such as plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
Ability to diagnose equipment issues through inspection, testing, and use of technical manuals and blueprints.
Proficiency in operating hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery, and material handling equipment safely and effectively.
Strong organizational skills to manage work orders, maintenance schedules, parts ordering, and documentation accurately.
Knowledge of and adherence to OSHA, EPA, and company safety and compliance standards.
Effective teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with managers, contractors, and coworkers.

The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00 - $51.00The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Vocational or technical certification and 2 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area. Option 2: 4 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
License in a related trade in the city and/or state where the job is located.
Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
Ability to read and speak the English language as required by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
