As a Security Bank Officer Armed in Detroit , MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading financial institution, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related activities at a financial institution location.

Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including lobby areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee movement in accordance with site policies, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.

Complete required reports and activity logs related to patrols, incidents, and security-related observations in a timely and accurate manner.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

Must have a valid State of Michigan CPL

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
