Overview

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role supporting patients in a home setting. You'll be responsible for delivering and setting up medical equipment, educating patients on proper use, and providing ongoing support to ensure a positive experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being active, working independently, and helping others.

Key Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to patients using sleep PAP and other durable medical equipment (DME)

Deliver, set up, and maintain medical equipment in patient homes, including respiratory and oxygen systems

Educate patients on proper use, care, and maintenance of equipment

Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, including urgent or emergency situations

Manage daily territory and ensure timely service, deliveries, and follow-ups

Complete accurate documentation for patient visits, setups, and reporting

Maintain inventory and ensure proper tracking of all equipment

Process orders accurately and in a timely manner

Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment as needed

Conduct patient assessments and re-assessments when required

Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and documentation requirements (including HIPAA)

Promote products and services to referral sources within the community

Participate in on-call rotation as needed

Qualifications

1+ year of experience working with durable medical equipment (DME) and customer service

2-3 years of face-to-face customer service experience

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and manage a daily schedule/territory

Valid Indiana driver's license required

Physical Requirements

Ability to regularly lift and move 75-85 lbs (occasionally up to 100 lbs)

Frequent bending, lifting, and handling of equipment

Ability to sit and drive for extended periods throughout the day

This is a Permanent position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $49920.00/yr.

Company car will be provided and full health package

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Indianapolis,IN.
