What You Will Do:
o Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) including assembly instructions, workflow/routing, labor standards, tool, and fixture designs.
o Support daily manufacturing areas with process troubleshooting, incorporation of engineering changes into the MDP.
o Disposition non-conforming material with root cause and corrective action analysis as required.
o Drive Continuous Improvement through process improvements to improve cycle time, reduce ergonomic risk to assemblers, automate, reduce costs (both direct and indirect) using CORE principles and data driven decision making.
o Provide real-time technical support to manufacturers and fabricators; in-house as well as the supply base.
o Tool/fixture development to drive ergonomics into processes. Lead corrective action investigations to prevent recurrence.
What You Will Learn
Qualifications You Must Have
o Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience to include any combination of the following:
o The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.
o Experience with technical drawing interpretation, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
o Experience with CAD solid modeling tools (preference for CREO/ProE)Demonstrated hands-on mechanical aptitude with the ability to work across disciplines

o Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PPT, Project, Word)

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 95,500 USD - 181,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
