ABOUT THE ROLE
Spectrum AMT, Inc. is seeking a motivated Manufacturing Technician to join our respectable in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This position is responsible for supporting PWA assembly and soldering programs, Cable and Harness assembly, plus various other support/technical functions.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Understanding the importance and adherence to ESD.
Experience Soldering and assembling both HI-REL and Commercial products to the J-STD OO1, NASA Space addendum and IPC/WHMA-A-620.
Ability to understand assembly drawings, work instructions and procedures.
Dexterity to work under a microscope with tweezers.
Understand the importance of being on time and working with others in a professional atmosphere.
Complete and maintain timecards through time-keeping system.
Assist with prep-work supporting cable and board builds.
Operate instruments, track test results, and troubleshoot when issues arise.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). One-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of higher education and experience.
Shall have or ability to obtain J-STD-001 and IPC A-610 certifications for Circuit Card Assemblies and WHMA-A-620 certification for cable assemblies.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
PAY RANGE
$18-$25 per hour

Coverage becomes effective on the first of the month following a 60-day waiting period.

401(k) with 100% company match on employee contributions up to 3% of gross wages. Immediate vesting. Eligible after 90 days of employment.
10 paid holidays per year.
10 days of accrued PTO per year during the first five years of employment, accrued bi-weekly.
6 paid sick days per year, available after the 90-day probationary period.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is a full-time, on-site role at our Colorado Springs facility. The work environment is a professional electronics manufacturing floor --- expect a mix of desk work and floor engagement, with frequent standing, walking, and hands-on collaboration with production and inspection teams.
