Project Planning Assists in the preparation of project plans throughout the project life-cycle.

Provides support during contract acquisition phase.

Become thoroughly familiar with project work scope, objectives and goals.

Provide support in the development of project/construction management plans which include, but not limited to: identification of project stakeholders, project resources, risk analysis, communications, procurement strategies, schedules, budget/cost profiles, quality inspection, work breakdown structures, change management, ESandH, security, etc.

Participate in constructability reviews. Construction Management Provide technical support to MOC Subcontractor Managers Technical Representative (SMTR) or other field construction personnel throughout the project life-cycle.This includes in-field oversight on a daily basis.

Perform the role of SMTR when designated.

Participate in Pre-Bid and Pre-Construction Meetings.

Assure that the technical baseline documents are managed in accordance with SPR Configuration Management requirements. Generate redline markups of as-built conditions as well as monitor as-built subcontractor documentation.

Initiate and coordinate field Change Notices (CN?s) including preparation of estimates and technical evaluations.

Participate in the development and field oversight of QA Surveillance Plans and Hold Points, ESandH, and Security requirements. Be familiar with the contractual requirements and submittals such as as the job-specific Safety and Health Plan, Written Programs, approved Waste Management Plan, etc. Prepare daily field inspection reports.

Issue Notification of Non-Compliance (NON?s) and/or Correction Requests (CR?s) as necessary.

Develop field correspondence, logs, and reports and assure they are timely, complete, consistent and accurate.

Review subcontract submittals for contract compliance, and ensure timely completion and filing of project deliverables.

Assure that subcontractor activities are well coordinated with ongoing site operations and other activities.

Field verify subcontractor progress payment requests and final invoices.

Participate with subcontractor in the generation of final punchlist. Verify the punchlist is completed prior to closeout.

Closely monitor subcontract progress per approved schedule.

Participate in Readiness Review Board (RRB) meetings.

Perform post-project activities which include but not limited to: lessons learned, claims resolution, contractual and a MOCinistrative closeouts, after action reports. Construction Safety Assist in the development of Preliminary Hazards Review (PHR) and SPR Safety Checklists.

Participate in formal hazards analysis work sessions as required.

Review subcontractor ESandH submittals for contract compliance and close field monitoring of same.

Provide daily oversight of subcontractor safety processes, Job Hazards Analysis (JSA), Safe Work Permits (SWP), Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE), or other safety requirements. Site Interface Assure that field construction activities are well coordinated with SPR site personnel. Continuous Process Improvement Participate in the continuous improvement of SPR procedures and/or processes.

Prepare and submit lessons learned. REQUIRED: Bachelor degree in engineering (civil, mechanical, chemical, or electrical) or construction management plus 5 years experience in construction management as applicable to the petroleum/petro-chemical industry, or in lieu of degree, candidate must have at least ten (10) years construction management field experience within a plant, construction or petroleum/petro-chemical industry environment is required. Typical oversight of subcontractor work may include the inspections of, but not limited to: civil/structural (concrete placement, soils and materials, dikes/levees, shallow excavations); crude oil/brine/raw water pipe installation and/or repair; electrical equipment and components; buildings; pumps and assemblies; wellheads; security systems; instrumentation and control systems; welding; blasting and painting; shop and/or field testing. Must possess an understanding and practical application of project and construction management principles. Must have a working knowledge of OSHA 29CFR1926 ? Safety and Health Regulations for Construction. Support a zero-incident safety culture in all projects and activities. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Must be capable of developing effective technical and non-technical correspondence, proficient in reading and understanding multi-discipline drawings and specifications, and can effectively interface and communicate with project team members. Candidate may be temporarily dispatched to work at other SPR sites including working offsite at non-SPR locations. Candidate must be a self-starter, possess strong multi-tasking skills, highly organized, confident, ethical, and must strive to continuously improve the candidate?s depth and breadth of construction management knowledge. Required skills - Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Sharepoint. DESIRED: Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI). Certified Construction Manager (CCM) from the Construction Management Assoc (CMAA). Knowledge of SAP, Primavera and/or Microsoft Project. Diploma or certificate from technical trade school. SPR experience preferred
