Job Title: Specialist Fulfillment (Warehouse Worker)
Job Description
The Specialist Fulfillment supports order processing and plays a key role in the accurate preparation and distribution of prescription medications using a fulfillment system in a specialty pharmacy environment. This position focuses on manual packing, shipping, and inventory-related tasks to ensure that critical medications reach patients safely and on time.
Responsibilities
Perform manual packing duties, including carefully packing and shipping completed prescription orders.
Verify orders for accuracy and conformance to established quality standards and specifications.
Prepare packages for mailing, ensuring proper labeling, documentation, and secure packaging.
Stock non-pharmaceutical products in accordance with applicable pharmacy regulations.
Handle material movement activities such as unloading, material handling, shipping and receiving, and stocking.
Perform inventory-related tasks including cycle counts, stock replenishment, and labeling of items.
Support department training activities by assisting colleagues and sharing best practices as directed.
Communicate clearly and professionally with team members to coordinate workflow and resolve issues.
Carry out additional responsibilities as needed based on operational priorities and sound judgment.
Follow all safety, quality, and compliance procedures to protect product integrity and patient safety.
Essential Skills
High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
1-2 years of relevant experience in warehouse, fulfillment, inventory, or a similar environment.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate diplomatically and maintain confidentiality.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively, with or without accommodations.
Ability to perform physical tasks including pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting for extended periods.
Willingness to work a flexible shift as business needs require.
Ability to adhere to quality standards and follow detailed procedures in a regulated environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with material handling, unloading, shipping and receiving, and inventory activities.
Familiarity with cycle counts, stock management, and labeling processes.
Comfort working with fulfillment systems or warehouse management tools.
Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility when handling time-sensitive orders.

Work Environment
This role is based in a specialty pharmacy facility in the North Fayette area of Pittsburgh, PA, that focuses on mail-order prescription medications for patients with serious and life-threatening conditions. The work schedule runs Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. You will work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment where accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to procedures are critical, as delayed or missed shipments can have serious consequences for patients. The position is physically active and involves standing, lifting up to 50 lbs., pushing, pulling, grasping, and performing other material handling tasks throughout the shift. You will work with fulfillment systems and standard warehouse equipment while following strict safety and quality protocols.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
